Us and the Road

Last in a series of narrative collages I did for 2D design. It kinda takes Alice, Little Red, and Dorothy and blends their stories together (though the only figure I use is Alice - I could see her in all three roles, really). All of them are iconic as girls who bit off a bit more than they could chew - they're curious and adventuresome - and that's what I wanted to show. It's like... if they were to go back into the story and face it head on - who they have become coupled with who they were written as. It has some elements of a story within a story... or, like, the small versus whatever fate some story dare have in mind for them. Mildly inspired by Princess Tutu.
